Vincent has been active as a concert singer. His oratorio repertoire is wide and ranges from Bach and Handel to Britten and Stravinsky. He was as a bass – baritone heard in the major Dutch concert halls . So he sang at the Koninklijk Concertgebuw, Dr . Anton Philipszaal, De Doelen, Beurs van Berlage, Musis Sacrum, and De Vereeniging. Vincent has worked with the Hague Philharmonic, the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra and Ensemble Ludwig. Vincent has been active as a choral singer and sings in professional (project ) choirs and ensembles. So he sings in Laurens Collegium Rotterdam conducted by Wiecher Mander Maker and Bachkoor Holland conducted by Gijs Leenaars. In the summer of 2009 he made a tour with the World Youth Choir. As a chorister he worked, amongst others with the Dutch Radio Choir, with conductors such as Jaap van Zweden, Jan- Willem de Vriend, James MacMillan, Philip Pickett, Roy Goodman and Frans Brüggen. The breath is always there and therefore a direct mirror of our conscious and unconscious patterns. Holistically, we assume that body and mind are one. Emotions and thoughts influence the body, and your body and breath contain information about your inner experience. The way you breathe contains a lot of information about what is going on in you here and now. That is what makes the breath such a powerful tool to work with. It offers space for what is stuck in our system. Ever since we were children, the breath comes to a halt the moment something happens that is too intense for us to be present for at that moment. In my quest for consciousness and health, I have spent years intensively studying various forms of breathwork. This is how I came across the Wim Hof Method. And wow, what an experience! The WHM breathing immediately brought me into a deep connection with my essence. And it gives so much life force. This energy helped me through difficult periods in my life. For example, thanks to the WHM I overcame the autoimmune disease Colitis Ulcerosa and have been living without medication since October 2020.
Besides the WHM I work as a breath coach in other breathing techniques and I guide people through the breath in their development process. Read more…
